Never really sure why

they brought him up in the first place (well I am aware of the whole Mauer DH phantom issue) if they were not going to play him. Must have been nice for him to get a major league salary.

He's earned it.

Been one of Rochester’s better and more consistent pitchers since coming over from the Mets in the Santana deal.

His Triple A numbers:

ERA: 3.75
GS: 45
IP: 275

WHIP: 1.358
SO/9: 2.38

You made me nervous

Rather than a 2.38 K/9 its a 2.38 K/BB

This makes quite the difference :-)

I'm an idiot.

I always mistype that crap. Sorry.

I was looking at both stats and was going to post both then decided to go just with the SO/9, but my eyes were obviously behind my brains.

Too bad Morales couldn't play 2B

His batting average is better than Punto’s or Casilla’s

Good to see what he's got

They need to give the guy a shot, there’s a lot of decent starters who become very good relievers, hopefully Mulvey is one of them.

Peyton's good but have you ever heard of Jeff George?

Not exactly what I had in mind

I was hoping we could trade Delmon Young for a reliever, or a bottle of Gatorade, but this works.

Just think, we could have Phil Hughes holding down the 8th right now.

Mulvey's better than Keppel

I keep waiting for Keppel to get lit up like a pinball machine.

Believe Morales was playing and hitting very well. No one else to send down?
