Twins interested in Sanchez, Capps, and Grabow

Well hopefully, Bill Smith will at least get Sanchez. Sanchez will require the most players to be given up, but throwing in two more may be a little much.

Kovacevic reported that the Twins and Pirates are not discussing Sanchez. It’ll probably take more than scraps like Humber if they want to get one of Capps or Grabow, especially Capps.

It’s hard to say what’s true and what’s not, but when denials come down on specific names I don’t always buy that line, either. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Twins and Pirates actually are discussing Sanchez, because it just makes too much sense. A multi-player deal involving Sanchez and Grabow for Casilla, Mulvey, Humber and maybe someone like Erik Lis wouldn’t shock me.

And it makes sense for the Twins in particular. Jon Paul Morosi from Fox Sports has another story confirming the same rumors. They could be from the same root source. But the more of them there are, the better chance it’s not just seom MLBTradeRumor fantasy.

Would be decent middle relief help as well.
