Just a throwaway line from the Toronto Sun's Bob Elliott: the Twins are still after Marco Scutaro.

THis would be a solid upgrade, I think. He’s a possible type A or B free agent at the end of the year, which means you’d have to give them compensation for the pick.

But we could make this move and get a reliever without breaking the bank.

Get both from Toronto

Scutaro + one of their relievers would be nice. You can afford to deal an “upside” prospect for Scutaro because you’re either getting him again next year or you’re getting a decent draft pick. Hopefully Toronto isn’t too busy with the Halladay distraction.
