With a substantial lead, Jorge Polanco has won the 37th spot in our 2010 ranking. Congratulations, Jorge!
Two players didn't meet the minimum 5% and will be dropped from the next round, Brock Peterson and James Beresford. Added to the 38th round will be Oswaldo Arcia, Josmil Pinto and Santos Arias.
Arcia was one of the better hitters in the GCL this past summer and appears to be another young outfielder with a very high ceiling. Pinto had huge numbers in the Appy League last summer. Although Appy League numbers tend to be suspect as to predicting future production, Pinto also had strong numbers the previous year in the GCL which just may indicate that he also has an excellent future with the organization. Santos Arias was one of the best pitchers for the Division Champion Ft. Myers Miracle. What is interesting is that only a few months ago many of us were very concerned that the Twins may lose Arias in the Rule V draft, yet, when he was included in this poll several rounds ago he collected only a few votes.
Your suggestions will continue to be helpful in adding players to future rounds. I will be driving back from the coast tomorrow, thus, this round will remain open until late Thursday afternoon or early evening.
