Aaaah... Speculation!
MLBtraderumors says the Twins might be interesting in Ryan The Riot? I don't think it makes much sense, but maybe you are of a different opinion. In fact, I'll take Mr. Punto back before I'll take Theriot. Gasp.
Also, anyone want to weigh in on how often they're refreshing mlbtraderumors? I figure Jesse has got to be near every three minutes.

It's almost every three minutes.
That and Twitter and RSS feeds and random searches. I’m lucky I love baseball or…well, maybe lucky isn’t the right word…
If he’s non-tendered he’d come cheaply, but it would depend on what the Twins want to do with Hardy once (if) they get Nishioka under contract. If they keep Hardy to pair with Yoshi in the infield, Casilla and Tolbert will be the backups and there’ll be no need for Theriot. But if they can’t secure Nishioka or choose to trade Hardy, then maybe they think about Theriot on a cheap Major League deal or a minor league deal.
I don't watch the Cubs often but,
I always Theriot was a good hard nosed player.

Coming from a Cubs fan
Theriot is not the fundamentally sound ballplayer the Twins generally seem to have. He’s a baserunning nighgtmare – absolutely atrocious. At the plate, he’s a decent singles hitter. Very little discipline and zero power – not even doubles kind of power. At SS he’s awful, but at 2B he’s serviceable.
