With the Winter Meetings behind us, it is time to begin our selection of the organization's Top 50 Prospects.  Today will be the first round of voting to determine the #1 prospect in the organization.  At least the player we at Twinkie Town believe to be number one.

Below are thirteen players eligible to vote for as the top prospect.  They include all eight players who finished in last year's top ten and five more (Parmelee, Benson, Arcia, Hendriks and Wimmers) who had special seasons and are worthy of consideration for our top spot. 

This round will close at 3pm, Friday, December 10th.  If one player receives more than 50% of the votes, he will be our top prospect.  It is more likely that no one receives 50% and there are several players grouped near the top.  We will have a second round of voting tomorrow for the top prospect from that group. 

With a few extra days for ties and a day off for Christmas, this process should keep going until the week before the pitchers and catchers report.  So let the voting begin!
