according to the Star Tribune
Hey, Twins fans. Score one for fly-over country and put that inferiority complex on hold.
FOX has announced its regional schedule of Saturday games for this season and the Twins are slated to be one of four teams that will make the maximum number of nine appearances. The world champion Yankees are set for eight appearances as are the Red Sox, Cubs, Mets and Cardinals. Philadelphia, Seattle and Atlanta also will be on nine times.
The Twins will make their first appearance on FOX on May 29 when they play the Texas Rangers at Target Field. The rest of the Twins' games on the network will be June 19 at Philadelphia; July 3 against Tampa Bay; July 10 at Detroit; July 24 at Baltimore; July 31 against Seattle; Aug. 21 against the Los Angeles Angels; Aug. 28 at Seattle; and Sept. 4 against Texas.

It's because Joe Mauer is awesome
and everyone knows it.
I actually hate this
Since I live on the East Coast, most times the Twins are on Fox Sunday baseball we’re stuck with a more regional East Coast game. And then even though I pay an arm and a leg for MLB Ticket, those nationally televised games aren’t available.

+1
This sucks for me as well. I’m glad to see the national interest (really subregional I guess), but these are 9 games I won’t be able to see. At least I have XM Radio…

same here
and Fox is terrible about cutting over to the other game if anything is happening.

I hear that
My locals never opt for the Twins game and they’re blacked out on MLB.TV.
