The Official Twinkie Town Fantasy Baseball League - Meet the Owners!

Earlier this week, I introduced an exciting opportunity for the Twinkie Town community as a result of a partnership between SBNation and CBSSports.com. At no cost to us, using CBSSports.com's Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League product, we have set up the "Official" 2010 Twinkie Town Fantasy Baseball League. Based on the comments to the original post, as well as the email requests I received, interest was off the charts. All told, about 50 people expressed interest, enough for 4-5 leagues full. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to pick everyone, but while I tended to favor the more established Twinkie Town members, I made sure a few spots were available to new members to keep things fresh. The 12 owners are listed below the jump, as well as two alternates should one or two owners drop out or fail to respond to the invite. Early next week, I'll post a thread to set the league rules and draft details. In the meantime, let the trash talking begin!

General plan moving forward is we'll set the league rules, rosters etc this week. I'll post on Monday or Tuesday, looking to finalize the rules by this weekend. If anyone has suggestions before then, please leave a comment. I'd like to conduct the draft sometime the week of 29 March, allowing all owners a week or two to prepare. In the meantime, good luck! The really unfortunate thing...

Is that I have been able to dominate my east coast fantasy leagues with my knowledge of the AL central…Span and Kubel basically won my league for me last year. I suspect the going won’t be so easy with an all twins fan crowd…

I'm increasing the league size to 14 owners

because…I can. And since SteveHoffmanSlowey hasn’t responded to his invite, I’m going to let all three alternates in the league. Expect an invite shortly.
