Seeing as we're all seeking WS trophy number three, here's a fun flashback to the legendary 1991 squad. Too bad I was only two years old and nine years removed from becoming a fan...

'91 seems forever ago
I too was in diapers when we last won the WS.
It sounds rough to say we haven’t been to the World Series since 1991, so I prefer to tell people that we won it twice in the last 25 years. It has a much nicer ring to it.

I had just turned 11.
Old enough to know something awesome was happening, too young to appreciate it.
Ditto
I was 8. I remember it and I remember it was awesome, but man oh man, would winning a WS now be a different (and infinitely awesome-er) experience.

I was one month old so I was really too young to appreciate anything.

Great Memories
I posted that song on my blog yesterday, too.
It brought back some good memories

...At least your name isn't a lie, then.

you people make me feel old
91’ was my first year at the U… so who here is going to write the 2010 Twins song?
I was there for Game 6, second row, section 210
The first pitch from Smoltz was fouled straight back by Gladden into my waiting glove, except the drunk dude in front of me jumped up and batted it into the deck below. Stupid drunk dude. And of course, I saw The Catch and The Homer. Rode the number 6 bus home that night in the best mood of my life.
