Your 2010 Minnesota Twins Optimism Level Poll*
I know it's probably too early for season predictions, but I'm curious to see how much optimism or skepticism there is in Twins Territory right now. Will the Twins go down in flames and end their season early or take the whole enchilada this year? What do you think?
*This poll is non-binding and unscientific and should therefore not be offensive to the whims of any baseball gods and therefore non-jinxing on the actual outcome of the season in any way.

I'm not sure what it is
but this year’s team just feels…different.
It’s making me really optimistic and hopeful

My thoughts exactly!
To me, this has a feeling of something in the air, a special something.
1987, New uniforms, new attitude, and a gelling of players that had been around and a few F.A.‘s that some considered also ran’s.
2010, updated uniforms, new home, players continuing to gell and a few offseason pick-ups (Hardy, Thome) tells me this may turn into something special this year. I won’t say a 3rd World Series in Minnesota and 4th overall, but may not be unfounded as well!
I do have a very big smile thinking of the possibilities this season.

"Different" Indeed
The fact they went on a FA “splurge” makes me optimistic. Once Mauer is signed, the Twins will be unstoppable! Hopefully Neshek returns too. I miss his funky strike delivery.
I drove by Target Field tonight. It looks magical.
Ski-U-Mah!
Personally, I haven't felt this good about a Twins team in a while!
GO TWINS!!!

I think the Confidence level of the players
is high. This Team has guys who have proven themselves as Top players in the league. The only players that might need to press are Young, whoever plays third, and Liriano. Everyone else should be able to play loose, have fun and win.
Awesome unjinxing on the poll
Otherwise I would have had to temper my optimism

I'm very optimistic
I even think Delmon Young is going to be a decent player this year.
I just hope beyond all hope that they don't go the typical
hover around .500 or just under early on and then have to spend all their magic climbing back into the race in August and September-only to be spent and worn out in the playoffs. Gardy is great, but his teams lack early in the season, and as we have seen the last 2 years, every win counts, in May or September.
But yeah, optimism is at an all time high. We have a quality middle infield! I still can’t believe it.
I always loved that one.
Bad division
That will help, not sure any of the other teams are good enough. If Punto has a season ending injury early enough in the season I will be really optimistic. Not sure Gardy is a WS coach.
wow I can't believe I'm the only won who voted game 163
I feel that is really the most likely scenerio at this point in time.
Lets go get Adrian Gonzalez..... how do you say holy shit! - ~en espanol ?

It's definitely a trend with the Twins.

Once is luck, twice is a coincidence, three times is a trend. So we will see this year.
