The Official Twinkie Town Fantasy Baseball League
Now that spring training games are finally underway, I suspect most of you may have already organized or joined fantasy baseball leagues this year, but for those of you still shopping, I have set up the "official" Twinkie Town fantasy baseball league. Thanks to a partnership between SBNation and CBSSports.com, we get one free CBSSports.com Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League for this season. Normally, a Commissioner League costs $179.99, but for us it costs... absolutely nothing.
More after the jump...
For those of you who would rather set up your own league with your own rules, owners, etc, CBSSports.com is also offering 50% off a new CBSSports.com Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League. If you're interested, you can set up your league here. Why would you want to do this? Other than winning 8 out of 9 Fantasy Sports Trade Association Awards for "Best Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League Management Product", did you know...
- Live scoring and stats allow owners to follow along as your players rack up points.
- Leagues can be customized any way you want. From rules (rotisserie, head to head, categories, rosters) to draft (auction, online or offline standard) to teams, player universe, etc.
- There's a keeper league capability that allow you to maintain player salaries, contracts and carry on the tradition for season after season.
- Free expert analysis, providing up-to-date information on all players and teams.
- Live chat and league messenger for the best trash talking.
- You have a 14 day free trial before you need to pay (remember, 50% off). If you're not satisfied, you can simply walk away.
For the Twinkie Town league, I plan to use this thread to recruit people. If you're interested, please post in the comments or send me an email. Remember, this league will be at no cost to you, we get all the premium features of the Commissioner product for free. Plus, I'll be posting league standings and other trash talk throughout the year. This is your chance at everlasting Twinkie Town glory!
I'm completely open regarding league settings, draft, etc. So more to come over the next few weeks.

Me. Definitely. Prefer to not have the draft for a couple weeks though.

Draft
I’m thinking sometime within two weeks of opening day, but we can be flexible.

I'm in!
My league bailed this year, so I’m going through withdrawal…sign me up.
Count me in
I’m very interested to see how CBS sports compares to others
You just gave me a reason to join SB Nation
Maybe that was the idea … but sign me up.
I can do one more...
Always wanted to try CBSsports
"I couldn't do that. Could you do that? Why can they do it? Who are those guys?"
Pick Me Pick Me
I would love be in the league
Interested
I’m interested in playing, just let me know what needs to be done.
I'd Love to Take Part
It should be easy to beat a bunch of hard core Twins fans who will take every Twin about 2 rounds too early right?
IF you need somebody...
to clinch last place by May 1st, I’m your guy ;-)
Regards,
I don't suffer from insanity...I relish every moment of it!
Sounds like fun
Though I imagine you’re going to get a lot more requests than you have spaces to fill, I’d be interested in participating — haven’t been in a fantasy league in years, though, so I doubt I’ll be very competitive.
Good response so far, a few clarifications
It looks like we’re going to get more responses than spots (12) in the league. That’s great. Please continue to express interest in these comments. This won’t be strictly first come / first serve, as I will in general favor the longer standing, more established Twinkie Town readers, as well as those with a bit more fantasy baseball experience. In general. It will only help if you express interest early…all things being equal I’ll go with the first responses.
Email addresses
Also, if you could post your email addresses in your response, I’d really appreciate it. I plan to send invitations later this week, so I’ll need your email. If you prefer, you can send me an email (check my profile), just make sure you note your SBNation username.
I'd like to play
Long-time Twinkie Town Lurker…I’ve been playing CBS fantasy baseball for 10 years now, I really think it’s the best available and I’d love to play in this league. Let me know.
Another 'Sign Me Up' post
Hey,
I’m relatively new to TwinkieTown (only been reading for about a year) but I’d love to be in. I’ve been involved with fantasy ball for over a decade—the past five years I’ve been in and MLB.com Radio Experts League. My address is daniel.louden.stock@gmai.com

I would like to play. Email is bgkrenz@stthomas.edu
I suppose there's already enough people to fill the league
but if anybody drops out, drop me a line at jwetter10@gmail.com
I'd like to play
Long time fantasy baseball player (over 32 years), but just tuned in to Twinkie Town yesterday for the first time. Would love to be in this league, but either way – Go Twins Go! email address is gezavadil@comcast.net
Fantasy Baseball
If this league is already filled up, I have another metro league out of the metro area. Right now we have 6 teams, but are looking to get up to 12 with a draft in late March or early April. Entry fee is $40 and all money will be paid back in winners. If interested, please email me at bobacou@yahoo.com and I will provide you with more information.
I'd def be interested
I’m devoted and hardly ever get 2nd place or worse in Fantasy BASEball… so maybe you dont’t want me in you’re league?
I know major league and Minor League Rosters exceptionally well throughout all of professional baseball.
I’ve been playing fantasy sport games for the last 7 or 8 years.
Wow Blackburn makes nearly identical money as Baker does now....
