Some Good News
I don't know if this even qualifies as 'news' but it brightened my day a bit after hearing about Nathan. But...
Kevin Goldstein of Baseball Prospectus has the Twins as #6 in his organizational prospect rankings. I am pretty sure that Keith Law and Baseball America had them in the low to mid teens. Goldstein calls Aaron Hicks and Miguel Sano "two of the toolsiest young talents around". And, "The mound group makes up for star quality with impressive depth, as many of the pitchers at least have big-league numbers on their scouting reports." So that is good and he predicts them to stay around the top organizations for a few years to come.
Cleveland is ranked #3 because of Santana and insane depth, Kansas City is 10, Detroit is 14 and the White Sox are 27.

toolsiest
good to hear they have that… now they just need to develop their getafteritness and I say bring them up!
maybe one of them could also learn some closelikeanallstarness… after today’s news about Nathan…it could come in handy.
Hicks was considered as good of a pitching prospect as he was a hitter
I think. Does someone with a better memory or enough motivation to use the google want to confirm/deny?
True
actually, I think most (though not all) teams preferred him as a pitcher, though he wanted to play everyday. He was in the mid-upper 90s in high school.

Ahaha
“Toolsiest” that made me laugh. Maybe it could be a character name on next seasons edition of Douche and Rather Provacitive Young Women Jersey Shore
I love Twins Baseball and Minnesota Vikings Football.

The Situation, Snooki, and Toolsiest.
Rolls right off the tongue.
RonGarde: Target Field is going to be exactly like Progressive Field, except you'll have a chance to die of frostbite in the middle of July

I liked seeing this too
The Twins have a nice mix of now players, future players, and revenue. I see many winning seasons in the next decade.
