Ah April Fools Day. A day full of good natured jokes and pranks. I was not only pranked today, but it was a Minnesota Twins joke.

Here's a little backround information you need to know about me for this story to make sense:

-I am an 18 year old college student living at home with my mom.

-I work at the YMCA in their drop off child care center.

-Joe Mauer is one of my favorite Twins players.

Now that you know that important information, onto the joke.

So at about 6:45 PM I got home from a long day at work. I go into my mom's bedroom and this is our conversation:

Me *walking in with a tired look on my face*

Mom: What's wrong?

Me: Well, today I got peed on, pooped on, drooled on, and sneezed on (read above to understand this part).

Mom *laughs*

Mom: So I guess you didn't hear the news.

Me: What news?

Mom: Joe Mauer got into a car accident today and broke his arm. He will be out for at least half the season.

Me: Are you kidding me?!

Mom: Yeah April Fools!!!

Needless to say, I completely forgot it was April Fools day. I didn't have any pranks/jokes pulled on me all day besides this one. I have to give my mom though. It was totally believable.
