I watched the game yesterday
and was constantly amazed at how wonderful that place looks. Can. Not. Wait. To See. It.
I always loved that one.

What's this August business...
I bought 2 tickets apiece for May and June games last night. Through the Twins website
Span with an infield single
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Hudson
drives it to the wall in RF but Ludwick tracks it.
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Span picked off
2 outs.
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Mauer HR!!!!
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Morneau HBP
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Cuddyer bounces out...
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Ludwick flies out to Span in CF
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Freese bounces out to Harris
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Stavinoha with a double
by Delmon….
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
RBI Single
for LaRue…Delmon’s throw home was late but Mauer to Hudson to Morneau etc…caught LaRue
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Thomer works
the count full and then drops a single.
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Delmon basehit
first and second, no outs…J.J. Hardy at the plate!
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
Quit drooling over McGwire stats, especially for his St. Louis years.
“One out of every two hits was a homerun.”
Gee, wonder how he kept in such good shape.

Hardy with a RBI single
and then a bunch of mistakes and 2 runs later and a few errors later, Hardy goes to second base.
"Don't take life for granted, because tomorrow isn't promised to any of us." - Kirby Puckett
haha, anyone still watching?
I just thought that little jump catch by Delmon was pretty funny in the 6th. probably thought he was next to the wall.
Peyton's good but have you ever heard of Jeff George?
just lisdtening,
but Slowey sure sounds good and that means our starters seem poised on the edge of a solid season. Especially if Slowey can pitch like a #1.
Yah he's looked pretty solid so far
If it were regular season he’d be on pace for a complete game. 75 pitches after 6 with 1 run. He would almost for sure get through 8.
Peyton's good but have you ever heard of Jeff George?
After Pavano's outing, 81 pitches through 7 innings
I’m liking the efficiency

huh,
SEE, you helped prove my point since Target Field is averaging 3/game! and we all know that we can make snap judgements based on a pair of games.

I just felt like looking it up...
I understand its spring training and absurdly small sample and all, but I had not idea how many HR per game the average was. Its was 1.125 per game per team last year.
The dome was playing like a moderate pitchers park the last few seasons. Twins hit 96 HR in 81 home games. Visitors hit 93 in those games.
cool.
my “huh” was one of an interested observer, and not a question. Oh and the smarmy sarcastic snap judgement sentence was directed solely at myself. See, sometimes the written word can be deceiving.

No worries...
A new stadium is a big deal. People will be watching the frequency of certain events like a hawk the first couple of weeks. There was all that hoopla last year about how well the ball carried in new Yankee Stadium that first month, but when they cruched the numbers at the end of the year it got a very conservative park factor of 97.
Yankee Stadium
The tons of home runs to right were balanced out by all the long fly outs to left. So, kind of like the old Yankee Stadium.

I have seen three HRs go to die
Off the bat, I thought, Gone. But caught on the warning tack. In the Dome, those were homers.

Alt-3 doesn't work with mobile.
Unfortunately Apple’s technology isn’t quite there yet.
