Around SBN: Now They've Screwed Spurs, UEFA Willing To Review Rule

First he gives up Bartlett and Garza for Delmon Young, and then this!!!

Gomez is 3/4, HR, SB, 2R, RBI, and the game isn't over yet. Did he finally figure out how to lay off the sliders in the dirt? Did the NL Pitchers not get the scounting report?

Yeah

He swung at 8 of the 13 pitches he saw, so no, he hasn’t learned to lay off of bad pitches. He had a good day and hit some bad pitches. One day does not a bad trade make.

Good for him...

but I’m certainly not worried. He had a torrid start with the Twins until he fell flat after a couple weeks. I wish the best for him, but he’ll need to break a lot of bat habits to reach his full potential.

This whole thing is lame.

Good for GoGo. Good for us with getting Hardy. We do not need 2 full time Center Fielders. We needed a second baseman.
And its ONE GAME.

I always loved that one.

yes we did

need a 2B, but we didnt have to trade Gomez for the 2B. I would much rather have hung on to Gomez than trade him away for nothing…ala Jason Tyner.

I am confused.

You are unhappy with Gomez for Hardy? (Hardy = nothing?)

I always loved that one.

Got it.

Thank you sir.

I saw yesterday that GoGo came to bat twice with bases loaded and failed each time. I know that Gomez all too well.

I always loved that one.
