Did I make a good Choice?

I already accepted this deal but I just wanted some opinions. Is this a good deal for me in my fantasy baseball league?

I Give: A-Rod, Carl Crawford, Miguel Montero, Matt Garza

I Get: Scott Rolen, Austin Jackson, and F-Bomb

I'm going to use this thread to ask for opinions for my fantasy team. If someone else isn't sure about a trade and wants some opinions before you pull the trigger just tell me and I'll put your trade up here.

Ok I basically found out that I was screwed. As of right now I'm 6th in my league out of 12 people. This is my roster assuming the new trade goes through.

Catcher- Carlos Santana a.k.a the Indians last hope

1st Base- Adam LaRoche - He is known to have a better 2nd half compared to his first

2nd- Robinson Cano

3rd- Scott Rolen

Outfield- Nelson Cruz - Was injured for more than half of the first half and still put up huge numbers

Outfield- Austin Jackson- Carl Crawford Lite

Outfield- Tyler Colvin- The Cubs are struggling so he'll get more at bats. The rookie has jacked 12 homers in just 170 at bats.

Utility- Carlos Quentin- He's on a huge hot streak. He's the reason why the White Sox are breathing on the Twin's back.

Utility- Adam Jones

Bench- Matt LaPorta

Bench- Kurt Suzuki

Bench- Placido Polanco (He's on the DL)

DL- Dustin Pedroia

SP- Josh Johnson- NL ERA leader

SP- Trevor Cahill- Before getting roughed up by the Yanks yesterday his ERA was 2.76

SP- F-Bomb

P- Doug Fister

P- Ted Lilly

P- Jhoulys Chacin- ERA under 4 when playing half his games in Coors Field

RP- Frank Francisco- ERA is 3.79

RP- Darren O'Day- ERA is 1.60

Do you think I could get into the top 3 by seasons end?

..would you make that deal?

I don’t like the chances of Rolen keeping up his outstanding pace, but even if he did I wouldn’t make this trade.

Yikes

Talk about your typical buy low/sell high. Even with Rolen and Jackson playing solid, how do they possibly rate higher than A-Rod and Crawford? I’d take Liriano over Garza, but that edge is easily eliminated by dealing A-Rod and Crawford. Time will tell, but I’m pretty sure you got screwed on this one…

Yep, that doesn't look good right now.

Take A-Rod out of that deal, and you still should have been able to get that done.

That’s why I was going to do. I don’t know why I added a-rod at the last minute anyways. Now I feel kinda bad about my trade. I hope it gets vetoed now.

in fantasy, J.J. Hardy/Valencia/Hudson is almost comparable to apples and oranges with A-Rod becasue he’s a yankee

Montero

Not to mention you also gave up Montero. Who is a great hitting catcher. I know you have Santana behind the plate already, but still. I have Montero and Santana on my team and I hit one in the Utility slot. I am in a 14 team league and its a big advantage to keep the catching talent away from the competition since the spot is so thin.

Yeah I would vote against your own trade

And basically call up whoever you know in the league and get them to vote against it too. I would say you have a good chance of getting this one vetoed.

Your not serious about that 1st trade are you? Man oh Man that might be one of the worst trade’s in fantasy history! Rolen seriously….isnt this guy hurt every year…. Jackson lmmfao over Crawford??? Arod and Garza too….and u got Liriano LMMFAO HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA SORRY MAN not trying to be an ASS! Hit me up with any Fantasy questions you got anytime…..I dominate fantasy sports…..I think I got 2 teams in the top 100 of yahoo head to head leagues right now! Fantasy football is no differant!!!!
