With players dropping like flies I've been checking through a few players who, while not on the 40-man roster, could be of potential help down the stretch. The one player I took care to look at? Brendan Harris. Harris has no place at third base, but with recurring injuries to J.J. Hardy, Orlando Hudson and Nick Punto, his versatility in the middle infield could still play a role. He's not likely to see action. But it is worth noting that in his last ten games, Harris is hitting .306/.350/.417.
