San Francisco Bay Area Earthquakes re-enacted with Twins bobbleheads
As those who were on the gamethread yesterday may have noted, I experienced my first pair of earthquakes since moving to California and may or may not have over-reacted. Gamethread regulars may also recall that I bought the 1991 bobblehead doll set on a capricious whim and now have 26 bobbleheads that I don't know what to do with. So I used them to re-enact the earthquakes and set it to the Homer Hanky song from back in the day. It's highly possible that I'm too easily amused.

Ah...the Homer Hanky Song!
Nicely done. Oh, and don’t apologize for being too easily amused. A quick glance around this site and it’s fairly obvious it is a common malady.

Three things
First, they’re collectable sports memorabilia not “dolls.”
Second, the safest place to go in an earthquake appears to be in the lower right corner with the Brian Harper(?) bobblehead.
Third, well done, rec’d!

Just one thing
They are called bobblehead dolls and are fun to play with in a pinch.
I'm a proud fan of the Minnesota Twins and Dallas Cowboys!

If the epicenter is at Shane Mack, then I think you're right
When the big one hits, I’ll grab Brian Harper for protection.
Just like a real earthquake, the shaking is more pronounced the higher in a building you are.

Most things are more pronounced the higher you are
It’s funny. Too bad you don’t have a mockup of Candlestick handy, you could have the Twins re-enact the 86 (87?) World Series game interrupted by earthquake. (Use the TV audio, etc.)
The only earthquake I was ever in (a 4.0) I slept through. Those cracks in the sidewalk all over SF are spooky. The song is fun.

It was the 1989 World Series -- Oakland vs. San Francisco
The news was all over that last night as these were called “the new World Series quakes.”
Also, came to mention that we just felt another aftershock. Much smaller (2.8), but I am now tasked with calming down the roommate who seems sure that the big one is coming tomorrow.
