Nathan grew up in Pine Bush, NY, and attended Stony Brook University, so it would make sense that he would consider ending his career in his "home market." The Twins, however, are interested in re-signing him even though they declined his $12.5MM option. Nathan has said that money isn't what's important to him; he'll sign with a team that he feels has the best shot at a postseason and where he can pitch in "big games."
