ALCS/NLCS: Who ya got?
Well, the ALCS and NLCS match-ups are now set. That sound you hear is FOX and TBS crying because they will not have their ratings cows participating. The ALCS begins tomorrow with Detroit @ Texas and the NLCS will begin on Sunday with St. Louis @ Milwaukee. So, who do you want to meet up in the 2011 World Series? Will LNP continue to will the Cardinals to victory? Can Justin Verlander be stopped? What say you?

It's not what I want, but I THINK it'll be Rangers/Brewers.
Brewers home field advantage is nuts this year.
I went Rangers/Brewers
dont really care who wins the NL but I dont want Detroit to make it in the AL
first-worst-first?
Division rivalry
It’s nothing personal, they’re a tough team to beat in our division. I love beating them and hate losing to them. Read some of the stuff they’ve said about the Twins on BYB the last few years.

I guess I'm backwards
I cheer the most for teams in my team’s division, if my team isn’t in it.

ide be cheering for Cleveland or KC
just do not like the Sox or Det especially with Delmon and Valverde on there.
first-worst-first?
Especially Valverde. Cabrera and Delmon are a close second.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!!!
Cardinals.
And whichever AL team can successfully kill Joe Buck with a foul ball. (Career-ending injury is an acceptable substitute.)
I'm actually pretty pleased with the options.
3 out of the four series went my way and it’s a very midwesty group, which I like. 1. Card, 2. Brewers, 3 Tigers, 4 Rangers.
Rangers/Brewers would be my hope...
So it’s probably going to be Tigers/Cards. I just really want the Rangers to beat Detroit.

Rangers/Brewers
would be ideal. There’s players on both teams that I’m a big fan of, so either way I’d be happy.

Tigers/Brewers
I’m on the “cheer for the division” bandwagon and “cheer for the former division rivals” bandwagon.
I like the players on both teams
I’m not really fond of the players for the Rangers. I like Pujols but would hate to see Punto get a ring.
I'm on the "Fox's worst small-market nightmare" bandwagon
So anything but Texas will be cool. No offense to Ron W., whom I like, but everything’s crappier in Texas.
I don’t agree with those who resent Wisconsin’s sports success of late. Let’s face it, Wisconsinites need sports teams to root for because, for the most part, the state’s a backward dairy farm. If people living one hour from the Twin Cities and five hours from Lambeau or Milwaukee need to identify with the state’s teams to make them feel better, all power to ’em.
I dig Detroit ‘cuz the city is struggling and Leyland is fun. St. Louis because Pujols was drafted in, like, the 600th round. But I agree with “fischean” that Halladay should get a title, someday. He’s just too awesome.

If that’s not quality of life, I don’t know what is.
Why did you put quotation marks around fischean's name?
Are you saying she’s an impostor?

Yes, I'm a little confused by this as well.
I promise I actually am fischean. Promise!

I was assuming "fischean" is an Internet name
And not your real name. But maybe your parents were very creative! (Didn’t know Internet names were not used in quotes, I’m still new to all this stuff.)

Your parents were slightly less creative
I give them points for being Python fans, tho’.
