O-Cab
Orlando Cabrera is still on the market and I think the twins should give him 1 million and let him battle casilla for a job we know what he can do and he can still pick it and hit if casilla or Nishioka struggle do you really want Matt Tolbert playing a large chunk of games at any position? We have no infield depth and O-Cab would be a fit as no team has signed him yet.

No
He has refused multiple offers for those exact reasons. He wants to play everyday, and even if he’s not playing, he wants to be paid like he is. We’d at least have to drop Jim Thome money and he wouldn’t be happy watching from the bench and getting spot work.
Great concept
But sadly unlikely to become reality unless putting Casilla or Nishi on the bench is an option which it seems won’t happen there is no way we’d sign him
NO +1
You want a right handed, limited range, mediocre arm, .310 on-base guy with no speed to push Casilla? You have very, very low expectations for Alexi … and (IMO) a very poor gauge of value for OCab. He is a minor league contract with an invitation to ML Spring Training with a Roster Bonus guy – pushing him to 750k at most at this point of his career.
He's better than Tolbert
I’d give him a chance if he wanted to be a bench player at $750k (Punto money).
He's a great clubhouse guy too
I love OC, but by now it may only be worth it if they get him for peanuts.

Man, I wish it was worth it, I really do.
The OC was a great Twin, but he just isn’t the smartest move anymore.
