I'm sure most of you regular perusers have come across this Yahoo! article (since it's on the recent link section here), but after reading it I felt it has to be be called to the carpet. Basically, the writer's saying that trading Liriano would be the feather in the cap of an offseason of attrition, and two of his key points are: A) not resigning Punto, and B) offering a modest contract to ol' Creaky Back Thome.

Anyway, it's fun to see the fan backlash in the comments. It's worth two minutes.
