Everyone is talking about why the Twins are doing so poorly. Is it because the bullpen is shaky at best? Is it because so many regular starters are injured and/or sick that Gardy has no choice but to field a AAA team at the Major-League level? No. I believe that the reason is not on the field. In fact, it's not even at Target Field anymore. The Twins suck now because of the termination of Wally the Beer Man.

Bear with me on this: If you think about it, the Twins' skid actually began last September, shortly after Wally was fired for not checking someone's ID. That skid has continued to this day. Therefor, if the Twins want to break out of this skid and have a good team, Target Field needs to allow Wally to come back and sell beer on the main concourse. It just doesn't sound the same without his baritone voice echoing through the packed concourse during the game.

Twins, you know what you must do to field a competent team and have a real shot at the division again: FREE WALLY!
