A true talent, a true gentleman, Harmon Killebrew was a giant on and off the baseball field. Now, with his battle with esophageal cancer passing beyond the point where his doctors could expect a cure, he's released this statement.
At 74, Killebrew has been involved with baseball and the Twins for most of his life. All of us here at Twinkie Town wish him the best, and our thoughts will be with his wife Nita as well.
Keep Harmon in your prayers.
Here's to you, Killer. Thanks for everything.
