Let the Chuck James Era Begin!

PrintAfter the Twins epic 1-0 victory over the Angles last night, the Twins put Joe Nathan on the DL, clearing the way for Chuck James to be added to the 40-man roster.
I'm certain there will be a write-up or some nice summary of his stats posted later today, but he's been pretty much lights-out at AAA Rochester. At the time of call-up, for pitchers with more than 20 innings, he was leading the team in K/9 at 11.6/1 and only second to Kyle Gibson for K/BB at 4.11/1.
Anyway, his pitching success is not the point of this post. More after the jump...
After the losses of LNP and CrainWreck, we need a new meme to cheer for, one that has depth and back story. Of course, this is Chappelle's Show excellent short-run of the Rick James True Hollywood Stories (courtesy of Comedy Central, audio is censored, but might not be appropriate for work or small children).

So who comes off the 40 man?
I guess at this point they could move Mauer to the 60 day DL. How long do they have to make the announcement?

Which would make him unavailable until at least June 6 or so.

Memes that are just making some pop-culture reference that’s sort of like the player’s name are lame. Nick Punto, Tiny Superhero had depth and creativity to it. And Crainwreck at least had awesome photos.
This year’s replacement memes have been as bad as this year’s team.
