Twins Player of the Game: June 6, 2011

CLEVELAND, OH - JUNE 6: Delmon Young #21 of the Minnesota Twins is safe at home as Carlos Santana #41 of the Cleveland Indians tries to make the tag during the second inning at Progressive Field on June 6, 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio. The Twins have picked up another game on the first-place Cleveland Indians on the heels of last night's 6-4 victory. Jon has your recap in full, but suffice it to say the Twins had a few more bounces go their way today. Wild pitches, superb execution on a suicide squeeze by Drew Butera, a big two-run single from Matt Tolbert and a little jab-and-weave work from Scott Baker means the Twins have now put together five wins in a row.

Your candidates for Player of the Game are...

Matt Tolbert: 2-for-4, 2 RBI, R (big double gave the Twins some breathing room early)
Michael Cuddyer: 2-for-4, 2B, 2 R (no run production, but he was a table setter in the middle of the order)
Luke Hughes: 2-for-4, 2B, R (continues to look better at the plate than Delmon Young)
