"Pinch-bunters don't have a ton of value, even with the Twins"

Peavy
Is this the first time we’ve faced him as a Pale Hose? He’s been injured most of the time they’ve had him, it seems.
Let’s hope our lefties have a big day. Kind if wish we had….Morneau, Kubel and Span to throw out there against him. Guess Thome, Mauer, Casilla and Nishi will have to shoulder the load.

Hindsight
Anyone else think Plouffe would have made a better DH yesterday than Thome against Buerhle?

I would've been worse.
Not sure how I couldn’ve done it, but I’m positive I could strike out 5 times in 4 plate appearances.
Just bunt every time
They will never expect it on 2 strikes!

I have confidence in Swarzak
If he can repeat his performance against LA or KC, then the Twins are in a good spot. At least he would be able to keep them in it.
The point of a graph
…is to communicate stats in an accessible way. In this case, a simple list would have served the purpose better.
Meanwhile, right now I’d rather have Anthony Swarzak on my pitching staff than Jake Peavy, whose best days are behind him.
I appreciated the graph. Plus it looks like Jesse had fun making it.
Do you want to know the terrifying truth, or do you want to see me sock a few dingers?
