Braves , to me, are a good fit, GM Frank Wren needs a RH bat and Hunter Pence, Ryan Ludwick, Jeff Francouer, M. Cuddyer, C. Beltran, J. Willingham are probably his top choices... Johnny Gomes (cin.) is another possibility.
Francouer was already a Brave once, so he along with Ludwick are long shots to me...
I'm certain the demands for Cuddyer will remain high, probabably higher than anyone not named Carlos Beltran or Ubaldo Jimenez...... And baseball people, GM's should expect and know that. Likely, the only way Cuddyer will be dealt is if someone blows Smtih, Antony, Ryan and co. away with an offer.
Push comes to shove, I would be in the boat that says Cuddyer will not be traded this deadline. However, if the right deal arises you have to consider you're options and if the Braves would offer up one of Minor, Beachy, Teheran, Delgado along with 1 of their many SS prospects I'd be awfully inclined to think that we would even hisitate to make that deal with Cuddyer's FA status looming this coming off-season.
Also Jason Kubel shall be re-signed for a much cheaper contract than Michael will be.
What will the future outcome of Michael Cuddyer become?
