This is part of the live ESPN trade deadline chat. Obviously we aren't looking at Storen/Bernadina for Span/Gibson. That would be beyond gross. I just wish we were hearing some different names from the Nats, especially if Gibson is for some reason involved. Bernadina?....no thanks.

I seriously cannot imagine a trade with the Nats

for which I would give up both Span and Gibson.

I mean, we joke, but the name Harper, Strasburg, or Zimmerman would have to be involved for me to do that; obviously that isn’t happening, so there is literally no deal I could imagine doing.
