Morneau takes Problem-free Batting Practice
"He had a really good day on the field with BP and ground balls and the whole package," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. "Everything went good."
Morneau is expected to do the same on Thursday, before taking early batting practice with his teammates upon their return to Minneapolis on Friday for their game against the White Sox.
Gardenhire said Morneau will then be re-evaluated over the weekend to see if he'll head to Fort Myers, Fla., for simulated games or to Triple-A Rochester.

I'm so anxious for him to come back
I would love to see him be healthy and perform well. This season has made me verrry nervous about his recovery from a variety of ailments over the last year. Hopefully he’s had time to get healthy and will be the Morneau we all know and love!
I'm so used to him getting hurt for the 2nd half
It’s going to be great having him come off an injury for a playoff push (?) for a change!
I'd like him to get some time at Rochester
I’d think he needs to get both confidence and swing back… I’d really like him to finish out with a couple of decent months, if for no other reason then to end the “he’s done” speculation.
