Michael Cuddyer serves on the Board of Directors of the Twins Community Fund, a regional nonprofit organization. He helps direct grant and program funds to worthy organizations and assists in organizing Twins players to participate in fundraisers for the organizations. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities is his charity of choice. He acts as a spokesman for the organization through local public service announcements, and by participating in fundraisers.

In 2007, he founded the Michael Cuddyer Celebrity Waiter Dinner, an event that has raised more than $250,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs. Another program he established called Cuddy's Buddies, has provided Twins game tickets to thousands of low-income youth from Minneapolis and St. Paul. Michael supports FS North Kids in the City fundraiser, Cheerful Givers, and the Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan, He also helped raise more than $280,000 for the Twins Community Fund at the TwinsFest and Autograph Party.
