The specific procedures
• Blackburn underwent surgery on his right forearm to deal with the entrapped nerve that ended his season in August. The recovery time is estimated at 6–8 weeks, which doesn’t concern him at all. He doesn’t really start throwing until sometime around Christmas in a normal offseason.
• Revere had arthroscopic knee surgery. He didn’t post anything on Twitter during the procedure but did share how he felt afterwards and posted a picture of his bandaged knee.
• Morneau had surgery to stabilize a tendon in the back of his left wrist. He’ll be in a cast for the next six weeks.
Morneau's finger is numb
It is getting more and more doubtful that Morneau is productive again. If he is able to produce over a whole season he’s a no-doubt Comeback Player of the Year.
