In his first time on our ballot, Matt Hauser was selected as the Twenty-Seventh prospect in our 2012 poll. Hauser had 60 of 214 votes (28%). Second in the voting was Deolis Guerra with 46 votes, Tyler Robertson third (26), Terry Doyle fourth (22) and Nate Roberts fifth (19).
Angel Mata received only two votes and will be dropped. We will bring back one of the organization's top pitchers last year, Cole DeVries. We will also add last summer's third round pick, Corey Williams. Williams had a year of eligibility remaining at Vanderbilt, thus the Twins went well over slot to sign this promising pitcher. He signed late, thus, pitched only a few innings for Elizabethton late in their season.
This round will remain open through Thursday evening.
