Matt Summers is our Thirty-Third ranked prospect, collecting 35 of 183 votes (19%). Cole DeVries was second with 28 votes, Corey Williams third (20), Matt Bashore fourth (18) and JaDamion Williams and Pat Dean tied for fifth with 17 votes.
Added to the next round will be the return of GCL Ace Angel Mata. Mata made eleven starts (37.0 innings) with a 1.46 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 30 strikeouts and 19 walks. His first year as a pro was in 2010 in the DSL where he had a 2.12 ERA in 59.1 innings. Mata clearly is a young starter (he turned nineteen last month) who could have a huge future with the Twins.
This round will remain open through noon tomorrow.
