Twinkie Town 2012 Top 50...Round 37!
And with the Thirty-Sixth pick of the 2012 Top 50, the readers of Twinkie Town selected former first round pick Matt Bashore. Bashore collected 56 of 247 votes (22%).
JaDamion Williams was second (33), Lance Ray third (28), Andrew Albers fourth (25) with a tie for fifth between Dakota Watts and Pat Dean with 22 votes.
Added to the next round will be 2011 fifth round pick, shortstop Tyler Grimes. Grimes hit .225 average in 128 at bats in Beloit, including four triples and four home runs.
The next round will remain open through noon Tuesday.

I like Albers numbers,
just wish I know if the Twins will give him a shot. I’d like to see him start at AAA.
I like Albers as well...
but still feel with Watts’ velocity, he can be a (low risk/high reward) type guy.

I voted for JaDamion Williams.
He played mostly RF in 2011, after being a 2B in 2010. That’s not why I voted for him; I’m just giving notes.
Another note:
His brother, Reggie, was drafted 4 spots behind him and plays in the Cardinals organization.
