Perez
eeking out a win here over Lance Ray. Fort Myers will tell the story there this year.
Lance Ray
Ray did make MiLB.com organization all stars this year. Also read the latest issue of Baseball America and see what Mike Radcliff, vice president of player personnel has to say about Ray.Full column devoted to him under Minnesota Twins.
Pat Dean
I think he’s another bullpen lefty like Perkins or Duensing.
I voted Dean
Then Ray. I would have voted Ray, but I’m not sure he has a position. Could he be the next Erik Lis?

Erik Lis, that brings back memories...
… because he played at the U of Evansville. Had one of the most enjoyable times of my life at a tournament in Evansville 12-13 years ago.
Oh wow!
You’re an Evansville native as well? I’m actually from Vincennes….oddly enough my family hosted James Beresford when he was 12 and have kept in contact since. I find it hard to believe Danny Rams is a “higher” prospect. It just seems like James is having a hard time getting respect.

No, from the Twin Cities...
…My son was playing on a Mantle team in the Shoeless Joe tourney.
Ray/Lis
Ray is a much better athlete than Lis. Ray is actually solid at 1B and in LF and RF. Not great range, but good arm and makes the plays.
won't Morales,Hicks,Arcia, hold him back?
Could Arcia or Ray move to 1B at AA?

Good to know
We should evaluate him on his own merits and not discount him because he’s in a system full of exceptional outfielders.

I have seen some good things about Dakota Watts
voted for him based on future closer or setup man possibility
first-worst-first?
Watts
is a good guy, hard-worker, and I ranked him about 50th last year… but might want to check out his walk numbers from last year.
