Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

Lester Oliveros is the big surprise on this list, along with the absence of Chris Parmelee.

Travis Harrison surprised me.

I agree

The guy is consistent. I too believe he will come back strong and have a long successful major league career.

I like Oliveros

While he still has some rough edges, he has good stuff and he is what the Twins need—a hard throwing righty in the ’pen.

They have him rated as a #3-4 starter

He can certainly contribute out of the ’pen. They just have him ranked 1 tier too high.

I agree

I rate a lot of pitchers higher, based on their ability to start. I can live with him being the highest rated relief prospect in the system. But that means he has to be rated lower than guys like Salcedo.

He's got the Twins system pretty high.

Only the Blue Jays are better on his points system so far. Having Arcia, Benson, Rosario, Hicks, and Michael as all “tier 2—above average MLB standouts” is the big strength. I suspect that’s an aggressive ranking, and I’d be thrilled if 2 of 5 of those guys are above-average regulars.

Agree

I have not seen anyone else showing the Royals and Red Sox having a worse system then the twins.

Brian Dozier as a “Bench/Below Average Regular” seems low to me.

Ceiling, Floor, or average?

This list doesn’t make a ton of sense. Gibson’s ceiling is a number 2 or back end number 1. His floor is probably average. The same could be said for others in the system. Rosario and Arcia (who are too far out to gage) could be stars. Rosiaro, I’d add, outperformed Sano thi season as teammates. They could also never make it.
