We had 466 votes in the last round, in part due to being open longer than normal because I have been traveling. The winner of round 25, with 126 votes (27%) was B. J. Hermsen. Nate Roberts was second (107), Deolis Guerra third (61), Lester Oliveros fourth (50) and Tyler Robertson fifth with 27 votes.
Added to the next round will be an exciting young starter who was the Ace of the GCL Twins staff last summer, Angel Mata. Although he seldom was allowed to pitch over four innings, Mata had an excellent 1.46 ERA and 1.14 WHIP in eleven starts (37.0 innings) with 30 strikeouts. Mata, who was eighteen, followed up on his excellent rookie season a year earlier in the DSL where he had a 2.12 ERA.
This round will remain open until Tuesday evening. Please let me know in the comments section who you would like to see added to coming rounds.
