Joe and Maddie got married at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in St. Paul with the reception at The Depot in Minneapolis on December 1st "and the dance floor was crowded until the band stopped playing at 2 a.m." according to Charley Walters of the Pioneer Press.

The guest list of 600 included current and former Twins such as, former roomie and current teammate, Justin Morneau; Glen Perkins, Brian Duensing, Twins owner Jim Pohlad, and Twins GM, Terry Ryan. Former Twins, Jim Thome, J.J. Hardy, Jesse Crain, Orlando Hudson, and Mike Redmond (I hope there was a "Hey, let's get the band back together again" discussion) were also there.

Also married on that day in Scottsdale, Arizona were Joe Gaetti, son of Gary Gaetti and Ashley Gladden, the daughter of Dan Gladden. Among the guests were Jack Morris, Kent Hrbek, Tim Laudner and Randy Bush.

"The last time Gary and I cried together was when the team came home from Detroit (pennant victory over Tigers) and all those people were there at the Metrodome," Gladden said Monday. "We cried all night (on Saturday)." Also from Charley Walters
