Judge rules on Twins Rivalry
Fricano asserts that the Cleveland Indians are “the arch rival” of the Chicago White Sox. While the two teams maintain a healthy rivalry, this court notes that it is generally accepted, at least among informed baseball followers, that the title of arch rival belongs to the reviled Minnesota Twins, to be shared, during inter-league play, with the Chicago Cubs.
Too funny. I can't say he's wrong. My feeling is that Twins-White Sox dwarfs any of the other rivalries in the Central.

I agree to an extent
I would say our biggest rival is the White Sox. but when you use a word like ‘arch rival’ I would think of mutual hatred/respect. some of the biggest rivalries i can think of in professional sports:
yankees/red sox
Jets/Patriots
Cowboys/Eagles
Lakers/Celtics
Cubs/Cardinals (maybe only because i’m in the heart of cubs-cardinals country)
I’m sure there are many more, but i think those are the ones that really stick out.
As for White Sox/Twins … i don’t think much of the rivalry, other than they’re our top competitor in the AL Central.

I'd say there's mutual respect and hatred between us and White Sox.

Twins and Whitesox
Were both in the west and are now both in the central. The other rivalries cannot say that.
"bobpuller" – arch-enemy of all SSSers and a twinktown troll. There are many meanings to this phrase and none of them are good.
