How many years in a row is this? I just don't understand how you could consistently mess up what seems to be a damn important part of your job: showing up.

Maybe he had to wait for 10 days because there was an amazing cheeseburger sale this week he didn't want to miss.

If somebody was paying me more than $900,000 to do anything

Let alone play ball a couple a days a week, and on top of that get me out of Venezuela I’d be at camp they day after they signed me reapplying for my work visa to be extended.

I know a lot of people who would be fired for showing up 10 minutes late, let alone 10 days. Not like he’s Verlander or anything. smh

If Fausto Carmona can make it on time to the states under an assumed name

year after year, then I don’t see how Jose “Queso-burguesa” Mijares can’t. (yeah I know that’s not how you say cheeseburger in Spanish, but it sure does roll off the tongue in Spanglish)
