If you are a twitter user I assume you've heard of the fantastic new game Baseball Boyfriend. Is anyone interested in joining a Twinkie Town league this year? I am.

Don't want to rain on anyone's parade

but isn’t this a bit patronizing? Don’t women have enough sports savvy to participate in regular fantasy baseball alongside the guys? The ones who comment here on Twinkietown surely do.

Plus, it should be boycotted until BatGirl gets proper credit for originating the idea of Boyfriend of the Day!

I guess I wouldn't really mind if you need some people,

but I’mm not sure if I’ll even be able to, doesn’t it say you need to have a fantasy team first? I don’t have time for a full fantasy team so I couldn’t do it if that’s the case. I wish I had time for fantasy, but I’m going to be even more involved in sports this summer than usual so I likely won’t have any time

I'm not sure I can take seriously anything that tracks "Stike outs" as a stat

If it was free, I’d consider it for the amusement, but I don’t want to give those people money.

(And to TwnzFan, yeah, it’s patronizing. I’d consider it a different kind of challenge than a full out fantasy league, but the notebook paper and doodled hearts make it hard to defend that rationalization.)
