Two second basemen?
Awesome. How does that work?
I assume Chang is the 3B

Though the pic is captioned as him being the 2B...
But Florimon is a middle infielder, and I’d guess that Dozier is being given a shot at SS…. I’m so confused.

I took the lineup directly from LEN III.
I didn’t even notice they put up two second basemen. I’d assume Chang is the 3B, too.
It's the Twins new "Boston Shift"

True.
Can’t wait for day games…it’s been 4 years since I’ve been able to watch a day game that was actually DURING THE DAY for me.
Also, four years since I’ve been able to watch a night game without jeopardizing how productive I could be at work the next day.
Hmm about that
Come September I can say the same

Move to the west coast
Night games happen during the day! And jeopardizes your productivity at work because you watch them at work!

I mentioned this when the Twins signed him,
but I work for the Astros’ AAA affiliate and I was a big fan of Towles last year. He is nearly Drew’s equal defensively – he has a cannon for an arm.
He’s an okay hitter but has pop. And is definitely a better hitter than Butera. He should beat out Butera fairly easily. If only he could hit as well in the majors as in AAA….

If this game is any indiciation
we’re going to win the World Series.
If you disagree with my opinion, I will take it personally.

You can drink out of the Mayor's cup
The WS Trophy is leaky and would probably poke your lip if you tried to drink out of it:

I always thought of the WS Trophy to be somewhat ugly
But yes, I will try very hard not to get into the whole naming of the MLB Championship business.

Does this game count towards the Ft Myers Mayor's Cup race?

I don't think so...
Spring training games don’t “count” but people still track and count them as “Grapefruit League” numbers. These intersquad games don’t even go that far. Its not on the spring training schedule.
You can do that?

AWW!!!!!!!
But the Twins no longer are playing for the Mayor’s Cup, according to Twins manager Ron Gardenhire, now that the Red Sox moved into the new JetBlue Park in Fort Myers. The Cup used to be a battle between the Red Sox, representing the city, and the Twins, representing the county, but they now both play in unincorporated Lee County.
"There is no more Mayor’s Cup," Gardenhire said. "We took the Cup; we got the Cup. The Cup’s in somebody’s cabin now, in Minnesota."
Well, at least it’s ours…somebody’s…maybe Mauer puts ice in it to keep his milk cool.

Win the cup and then stop playing... that works I guess
Reminds me of the time the Gophers upset the Michigan and the Wolverines had forgot to bring the Little Brown Jug to the game…
It's only a Spring Training B-Squad game...
…but I’ll take it. BASEBALL IS BACK, BABY!
