(Said in the voice of the announcer of the 1960's "Batman" TV show): "When we last left our heroes..."
Despite the excitement of that final game, 2011 was a lost cause (in many shapes and fashions) for the MN Twins. There are many mysteries ahead in 2012, but right now I'm playing the part of devoted optimist. Unlike the Vikings, where the other shoe is always perpetually waiting to drop, a little bit of "Twins magic" can now and again inject itself into the team, ballpark, and entire state of MN. Could this be one of those years? One doesn't know until it begins, which it does tomorrow!
It will be old Carl Pavano toeing the rubber in Baltimore, followed by Francisco Liriano and Liam Hendriks (starting in place of the injured Scott Baker).
