After the Phillies realized that while Jim Thome is an amazing masher of taters, he isn't all that good at fielding or catching at this stage, they have started making moves to trade him. He has requested a trade to a team he has already played for (although ideally he would like to play for a team in contention). Assuming the White Sox are set with Dunn and Indians with Travis Hafner, that leaves the Twins as former teams who can use a DH. I know the Twins aren't in contention (or anything remotely close), but I will admit, I would love to watch big Jim stroll out for the home side just one more time...
