No breaking news here, but LaVelle does a nice job giving a lay of the land as the trade deadline approaches. Talker: some other Twinkie Town writers and I were kicking around just what kind of deal it would have to be for the Twins to be amenable to extending Francisco Liriano. I have to guess there are people on the club for whom there isn't a cheap enough cost to continue dealing with the ups and downs. I'd also hope Terry Ryan isn't going to give him away just because of that sentiment.
