It seems the Twins are thinking about sending Chris Colabello to play in Korea of all places. The Twinkies are reported to be in discussions with the LG Twins (brother from another mother, maybe?) to transfer Colabello's contract to them, which seems like it could net them up to $1MM. Such a move would free a 40-man roster space for the them, who need one to add backup catcher Kurt Suzuki to the 40 man roster. The Twins obviously would only send Colabello abroad with his permission.
This seems to be a clear indication that the Twins have decided to give the "other" Chris, Mister Parmelee this open shot at the backup 1b/of position. This would definitely clear that logjam we have all been talking about, starting with the trade of Ryan youcanDoumit and the subsequent signing of Kurt Suzuki.
