We've all read about Miguel Sano's potential, his skills, and his natural talent, but this past week, Sano has been positively on fire at the plate, as he's hit 5 home runs in the last 9 games, and 4 in the past 5 games. In fact, in his past five games, Sano has 8 RBI, over a third of his RBI for the whole season. He's also scored 6 runs in the past five games (thanks to, you know, continuing to murder the baseball), and continues to be one of the most exciting Twins prospects to watch.
Just so you can see some of the power and his mechanics, the following video shows a dinger Sano hit off pitcher Jacob Partridge a little over a week ago-a no-doubter to left field.

Sano has certainly continued to improve at the plate, and while his fielding isn't terrible (4 errors on the year, .944 FP so far), his bat and power are definitely what the Twins look to keep improving on. Sano's past week has been pretty exceptional, and for that reason, we're naming him the Twinkie Town Twins Minor League Player of the Week.
Make sure to come back for the game thread for today's matchup against the Rangers!
