The Minnesota Twins walk-off behind Parmelee's two-run blast to beat the Boston Red Sox, 8-6

A walk-off two-run home run from Chris Parmelee brought home the win for the Minnesota Twins in an 8-6 victory over the Boston Red Sox at Target Field on Tuesday.

Parmelee racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Twins. He singled in the third and fifth innings along with the home run in the ninth.

Glen Perkins recorded the win for the Twins. He pitched one shutout inning. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Andrew Miller was the game's losing pitcher. He went two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.

The Red Sox jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. A solo blast by David Oritz started the inning off.

The Red Sox scored one run in the fourth inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the fourth, the Red Sox scored on a solo home run by David Oritz, his second of the game.
