Kyle Gibson hurls gem, but the Minnesota Twins's bats go quiet in 1-0 loss to the Texas Rangers

Kyle Gibson didn't allow a run on Wednesday at Target Field, but the Minnesota Twins couldn't get the offense going in a 1-0 defeat to the Texas Rangers.

Gibson held the Rangers scoreless for six innings. Gibson struck out four and allowed no walks and six hits.

Shawn Tolleson got the win in relief for the Rangers. Shawn pitched 1 2/3 innings and allowed no runs.

Jared Burton couldn't get it done on the mound for the Twins, taking a loss. He pitched two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.

The seventh inning saw the Rangers score their only run on the day on an RBI single by Luis Sardinas.
